SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO AND DAIMLERCHRYSLER EXTEND EXCLUSIVE RELATIONSHIP
- Agreement Extends Exclusivity to September 1, 2012
- 750,000 Subscribers Expected From Chrysler Group Alone During Current 2006 Model Year
- Wide Factory Availability Continues 10-31-2005
NEW YORK and DETROIT, MI - October 31, 2005 - SIRIUS Satellite Radio (NASDAQ:
SIRI) and DaimlerChrysler today announced that they have extended their
exclusive relationship through September 1, 2012. The agreement includes all Chrysler Group and Mercedes-Benz vehicles as well as Freightliner Trucks.
For model year 2006 over 750,000 subscribers are expected to be generated from the Chrysler Group alone, with volumes estimated to increase significantly in the future.

"DaimlerChrysler has been a long-standing supporter of SIRIUS since we began broadcasting, and we share the same commitment to provide a quality experience. Together, we can continue to enhance the driving pleasure of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Mercedes-Benz and Freightliner customers with SIRIUS' unique mix of programming, which is the best in all of radio."

Together, we have worked to provide our customers with an enhanced level of in-vehicle entertainment experience, and we are pleased to continue to offer this feature to future Chrysler Group customers."
SIRIUS continues to be available as a factory-installed option on 2006 model year Chrysler Group vehicles, under the Chrysler, Jeep(R) and Dodge brands, with one year of SIRIUS service included in the $195 MSRP of the feature.
